Harshad obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering and then came across the teachings of Krishnamurti. This created a profound shift in his life. He left his professional work in Canada for the opportunity to teach in various Krishnamurti schools in India for almost 30 years. Since his retirement in 2006 he continues visiting these schools and holding dialogues with students and adults.

He is able to present the essence of Krishnamurti’s teaching and his own insights in a straight-forward, direct and engaging way, that makes it accessible to anyone truly interested in self-understanding and seeing things directly as they are.

He is a visiting guest at Swanwick and will be offering dialogues on Relationship and related themes, such as Love, Meditation and Freedom in this weekend retreat. These will be complemented by readings and videos.
