Location: Online

“The Urgency of Change” Dialogue Group

NOTE: DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC WE WILL HOLD A ZOOM ONLINE VIDEO-CONFERENCE
INSTEAD OF MEETING IN PERSON.

This program offers an opportunity to engage in a continuous learning about ourselves and how we are creating our experience in the world. We will explore the ways we may be limiting our potential as human beings to live fully, with meaning, joy, and love. By seeing ourselves in the mirror of daily living and relationship can there be a transformation in our way of being and a realization of a deeper sense of freedom?

Those joining the group will be agreeing to participate in a ten-month process of self-inquiry with the intention of engaging in a consistent looking, listening, and questioning of our assumptions about life and about our identity. We will use the pointers offered by J. Krishnamurti in The Urgency of Change as a platform for understanding not only K’s teachings but, most importantly, for understanding ourselves.

Beginning on Sunday, March 8th, 2020, the group is meeting once per month to share our experiences with our own self-inquiry as well as our studying of the reading material and applying it in our lives. We will explore together the challenges and benefits of a deepening self-observation.

The facilitator of this program will be David Bruneau, who has extensive experience in self-exploration and in leading study and dialogue groups at the Krishnamurti Centre. He will seek to find a balance which includes an element of guidance when needed and, at the same time, will invite a self-directed initiative and interest in self-discovery on the part of all participants.

This is now a closed group, but interested person can contact David at d_bruneau@hotmail.com for more information and to be placed on a waiting list.

This program is offered at no charge, except for purchase of The Second Penguin Krishnamurti Reader ($20).  It includes The Urgency of Change.
