Exploring Awareness
Event: A Series of Dialogues with Dr. Harshad Parekh
Date: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday May 25-27, 2015 (2-5 pm)
Harshad obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering and then came across the teachings of Krishnamurti. This created a profound shift in his life. He left his professional work in Canada for the opportunity to teach in various Krishnamurti schools in India for almost 30 years. Since his retirement in 2006 he continues visiting these schools and holding dialogues with students and adults.
This is an unusual opportunity to be with someone deeply affected by, and passionate about, the teachings of Krishnamurti. Harshad presents the essence of these teachings in a clear and direct way, so that they become readily accessible to anyone truly interested in self-understanding and seeing things as they are.
In these afternoon sessions Harshad will be hosting dialogues on Awareness and related themes, such as Relationship, Love, Meditation and Freedom in this weekend retreat. The dialogues will be complemented by readings from Krishnamurti’s “Commentaries on Living”, videos and refreshments.
Harshad is a visiting guest at the Centre during the month of May and is also open to meeting personally with anyone deeply interested in exploring fundamental issues of living.
These afternoon sessions are offered by donation.
Overnight stays without meals will be available fora reduced rate of $40/person/night. Advance booking is required for overnighters, by contacting Ralph Tiller, the program manager, here.
