LOVING ‘WHAT IS’
An Online Workshop with Kathryn Jefferies
February 21 – 23, 2025 (Fri – Sun: 10 am – 11:30 am Pacific Time)
Would you like to be at peace with everything you think is wrong with your life, with the world? Or are you afraid that not minding anything that happens (as Krishnamurti claimed as his secret approach to life) will put you in a position of condoning what you don’t support and, even worse, inviting it into existence?
Bring to this workshop what it is you don’t think you can accept. We are going to take a close look at this mental position of resistance. What are the true effects of ‘against activism,’ whether it is something you are opposing in your personal life or something on a national or global scale?
On the other hand, how does one actually come upon loving what is? Obviously it is not something that can be forced or willed or even chosen. It may be that it is who we are — our natural state/orientation to all life — when thought is cleared away.
What are the effects of living without resistance, of loving everything as it is? Find out if you can both love reality as it is and still have preferences, still take action.
This is an experiential, interactive workshop and you will be invited to share aloud but you are also welcome to just do the self-inquiry exercises on your own and listen. Participation is optional.
I really look forward to sharing this time with you. Please know that anything you think you need to know is not required for this workshop. In other words, you are welcome exactly as you are. This is a practice in putting you in touch with your innate wisdom which we all share in equal measure. It is not philosophy nor academia nor intellectualism, yet it may be mistaken for these things to someone watching. We will in fact step outside of the thinking mind and therefore go beyond these approaches. You yourself as a participant will be able to discern the difference as an experience within yourself.
