Meditative Self-Inquiry
MEDITATIVE SELF-INQUIRY
Online weekend events (2 sessions each) with Mukesh Gupta
Sat & Sun 4:30 pm PT / 7:30 pm ET
Meditative Self-Inquiry is an open learning space where a group of human beings interested in exploring deeper questions of life come together. A deep sense of togetherness, inward leisure, wonder and attention are at the core of this meditative journey.
In these weekend events (Saturday-Sunday) the first day will be dedicated to an introductory talk on the selected theme followed by an interaction with the participants. The second day would be focused on a meditative journey of dialogue based on this theme. The basic intention of a meditative dialogue is to work together in an affectionate, trusting and non-hierarchical space so that there is a natural opening up of fundamental problems that confront our daily life. This may happen by simply sharing our observations, our blocks, as well as our inherent goodness, trust and love for finding what is true and what is false.
In order to participate in this self-inquiry process we do not require great knowledge of teachings; what we actually need is a simple heart and mind which is open to listening, inquiring and wondering and not seeking any preconceived specific results.
These weekend events will be conducted by Mukesh Gupta , an international speaker who has been facilitating self-inquiry based retreats, workshops and dialogues for more than a decade. He joins us from Varanasi, India.
Themes for the three weekends:
February 13-14, 2021: The Quest For Truth
March 13-14, 2021: The Awakening of Intelligence
May 29-30, 2021: The Transformation of Consciousness
The two 90 minute sessions of each weekend event form a sequence and are best taken together.
