PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS THE LAST WEDNESDAY MEETING. ALL FOLLOWING MEETINGS WILL BE MOVED TO THURSDAYS, SAME TIME AND LOCATION!
Anyone sincerely interested in self-understanding and self-awareness is welcome to join our small group dialogues, guided by facilitators passionate about self-inquiry.
As resource we will be using The Book of Life, a collection of daily meditations by J. Krishnamurti. It is available at cost for $20.
The Book of Life e-book is also freely available here and looking it over for questions to further explore in our meetings is recommended.
Meetings are held on a donation basis. A suggested donation of $10-$20 can be made here .
Our meetings will be held in the Boardroom of the Esquimalt Gorge Park Pavilion. The Pavilion is located in a beautiful park, next to a Japanese Garden.
Access is from Tillicum Road. There is ample parking next to the Pavilion.
Or take #26 bus to Tillicum at Gorge Bridge stop, with a 5 minute walk from there to the Pavilion.
Our Facilitator: John Duncan
John’s interaction with Krishnamurti and his teachings began in 1984 when he saw public talks in Ojai.
From then on he attended many dialogue retreats and events at the foundation until he moved to Ojai in 1999 and began working at the KFA.
His work as proofreader for the Krishnamurti Publications was an invaluable scholarship in which he interacted with Krishnamurti talks and dialogues spanning over six decades of Krishnamurti’s teaching life, including the 17 volumes of the Collected Works.
He led dialogues on Tuesdays and Saturdays at the KFA for several years and now leads online retreats while most recently giving a talk entitled This Matter of Fragmentation at the 2024 May Gathering in Ojai.
He looks forward to engaging visitors at KECC around Krishnamurti and his teachings in a clear and dynamic fashion.
