Exploring Ourselves

Exploring Ourselves
Bi-weekly dialogue meetings with Jackie McInley
On two Sundays/month, 10 am – 12 noon Pacific Time

Psychological conditioning in all its subtle forms holds our lives in limitation, confusion, separation and self-centred ness; bound in the pursuit of endless escapes and repetitive pleasures. Our very minds are held in tradition and psychological patterns that dulls sensitivity, creativity and awareness and maintains a life with no real freedom and love.

What is binding us to this mechanical, unenlightened existence? In our dialogues we will be exploring and examining: what is keeping this conditioning in place both as individuals and as human beings collectively?

We will not be discussing these serious questions as an intellectual activity but as a careful and affectionate inquiry together; “giving all of ourselves” to uncover, observe and perhaps breakthrough our assumptions and hidden motives.

DATES:

APRIL 9*
MAY 7 & 14
JUNE 4 & 18

*No second April meeting due to workshop

A former self-employed, foreign language and theatre teacher by profession (schools, higher education and business), she now organises and facilitates inquiry events, gatherings and retreats in a variety of countries and cultures around the world. She also visits, facilitates dialogues and gives talks in the Krishnamurti Foundations, centres & schools in USA, UK and India.

Jackie does not follow any particular spiritual teaching but is deeply interested in the investigative talks & dialogues of J.Krishnamurti as a mirror and friend to her own constant inner inquiry.
